AutoCAD for Mac

02 Sep

1992 was the last release of AutoCAD on the Macintosh platform, until now.  On August 31, 2010 Titan AEC was invited to a special event hosted by Autodesk at their San Francisco office.  At that event, Autodesk announced it will be releasing AutoCAD for Mac this fall.  This wasn’t some virtual machine trickery or some LT port.  This is completely native 64-bit OSX application.  All of the Macintosh user experiences are embedded within the product such as multi-touch for pan and zoom functionality, spotlight to search for DWG files, and coverflow support in Finder for quick access to DWG files within OSX.

Titan AEC is a consulting organization with the capability to implement Autodesk design technologies across the Windows and Macintosh platforms.  Titan AEC was invited by Autodesk to work closely with AutoCAD development team to bring this product to market.  We are excited about the new opportunities this brings to our customer base and look forward to assisting them.  Click HERE for a sneak peak!  Click HERE for the brochure from Autodesk.
